We are delighted to be hosting the G81 Creatives Exhibition #1 – our first photography / digital art exhibition in The Backdoor Gallery, Clydebank over the next few weeks, starting with a private viewing on Thu 9th Jan 2020 from 6pm, and opening to the public on Sat 11th from 10am.
As you may know, G81 Creatives are a creative community dedicated to nurturing and promoting artistic talent throughout Clydebank and surrounding areas. Our primary focus is through the medium of photography and digital art however, we welcome all members of the community to work in sharing their experience and knowledge with others through networking events and creative collaborations. The group run workshops weekly on a variety of topics all aimed at improving the skills of budding digital artists and photographers in the local area.
From the 11th Jan (from 10am) through to the 20th Feb, G81 Creatives Exhibition #1 will be open to all members of the public to take a look at the work of the group which has been curated over the past year.
Members of the group have worked hard to bring together a selection of their best work to present to you. For some, this is the first time they have ever publicly exhibited their work, and so they are understandably a little nervous as well as excited by the prospect.
During the six week exhibition the group are also running a number of workshops which anyone can get involved in, from a fun photo treasure hunt, to a mobile photography workshop, there will be something for everyone with a keen interest in photography.
